Meet The Pastor
Hello, I’m Pastor Corey and my wife’s name is Sam. We were married in May of 2018. We both had the opportunity to be raised in wonderful churches, and were saved at a young age.
In October of 2019, the Lord opened the door for me to become the Pastor of Delaware County Baptist Church. We are grateful for the privilege to minister not only to our church family, but also to Havertown and the surrounding communities.
Our church is smaller in number, yet growing. Our services are filled with singing praises to our God and Bible filled preaching & teaching. Our Sunday service schedule allows time for fellowship in between our services.
We believe the Bible is the word of God. In our services we turn to and read a lot of Scripture. As a pastor, my desire is for folks to come to church and learn God's word and hear how it can be applied to their daily lives. The most important message our church preaches is the gospel of Jesus Christ, that He died on the cross for the sins of the whole world & He was buried & rose from the dead. He is the way, the truth, and the life! Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. We desire for people to understand the gospel, put their faith in Christ for salvation & have the assurance they have eternal life.
